Meet Kate.

Having spent most of her youth playing competitive soccer, basketball, and baseball as well as spending all her free time snowboarding the local mountains in Vancouver, it’s no surprise Kate settled on a career helping people move and feel better in their bodies.

Kate graduated at the top of her class from Toronto’s Sutherland-Chan School for Massage Therapy in 2011. She went on to open a successful clinic while teaching part time at Sutherland-Chan before returning to B.C. and settling into the Sunshine Coast.

Kate is an earnest and compassionate professional, with a technical understanding of treating  musculoskeletal disorders and pain. She brings a holistic framework to each of her healing sessions. Her treatments will diminish your discomfort, get you moving better; while at the same time helping you unwind, improve your sleep, and leave you feeling renewed. She incorporates Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, kinesio taping, and hydrotherapy into her treatments.

Since completing her massage therapy diploma, Kate has pursued training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University as well as over 700-hours of yoga and meditation teacher training. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Precision Nutrition certified coach. This is a woman who knows bodies.
